The story began a long time ago. Andreas Bergström and Christian Tildelöv first met in school, at the age of 7. They started their first band in high school, and have played together, on and off, in various projects over the years.

In January 2017, on a dark and frosty morning, Andreas and Christian met at Andreas’ office, to jam a few hours before work. And ... MAGIC! Great melodies and loads of energy. That morning session was the start of a routine: two hours every other week, playing, drinking coffee, and talking about all things life. A year later, the first songs was released.

Andreas and Christian both play the guitar and sing. Echo Duo's standard setup is: Andreas plays classical guitar and Christian plays steel string guitar, one of them sings lead vocals while the other sings background/harmony.

On the first EP, there are not that many additional instruments; you can hear an electric guitar on one song, if you listen close you can hear a mandolin on another. On future recordings you might hear some percussion, piano and contrabass.

The recording of the second EP began in September 2018. The five tracks was mixed early 2019 and released May 22, 2019.
