The story behind the name

Is there such a thing as new music? Old melodies and sounds re-appear around us everyday. It’s more like new is old in new shapes.

Andreas and I have been playing together for thirty years. Some of our music is old, stuff we wrote a long time ago. And some of our creations are are new.

But no-matter if the songs are new or old, our sound is our interpretation of the music that has influenced us through the years. What we create is an echo, of ourselves and of our musical heroes. A tribute to music that inspires us. Two music lovers that resonate with the old.

So, Echo Duo, seemes like a good name.
